Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) on regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load deliveries
- Ensure proper cargo handling and securement
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years recent OTR driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with regional Southeast routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights/weekends
