Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods between distribution centers, ports, and client locations across Miami-Dade and Broward counties
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized cargo including temperature-controlled freight and hazardous materials endorsements where applicable
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve shipment discrepancies promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience in commercial trucking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade traffic patterns and delivery regulations
- Pass federal DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional weekend deliveries
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
