Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional routes within the Mid-South
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and safety regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Operate in all weather conditions while maintaining safety compliance
- Represent the company professionally with customers and vendors
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and securement procedures
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work flexible schedules
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) required
