Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) in the LA metro area
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation and real-time traffic data
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip for safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for on-time pickups/deliveries
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and protocols
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and HOS requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Minimum 25 years old with 1+ year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with LA traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
