Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within California and surrounding states
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Load and unload cargo with proper equipment techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement requirements
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
