Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional routes within Houston metro area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate DOT compliance logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient delivery scheduling
- Load/unload cargo with precision and safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional service
- Adapt to changing delivery demands and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Houston area roadways and regulations
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Physical ability to handle cargo up to 50lbs
