Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Assist with freight loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Detroit metro roadways and industrial zones
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to handle freight (up to 50 lbs)
- DOT medical certification current
- Basic navigation and smartphone proficiency
