Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) on regional routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and accurate vehicle maintenance reporting
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and maintain precise delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and on-time delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with ELD systems and route planning software
- Strong defensive driving skills in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible schedules including weekends
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
