Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and dollies
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally
- Minimize delivery delays through route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years recent tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat materials (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and paper maps
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
- No DUIs or preventable accidents in past 3 years
