Your Mission:
As a CDL Driver at San Diego Transport Solutions, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across California. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and prioritize safety above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) on assigned routes in San Diego and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs (ELD/Logbook).
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle across state lines.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Basic computer skills for logging and paperwork.
