Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on highways and local roads.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving time, mileage, and delivery information (ELD compliance).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to undergo training for drivers with no prior experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
