Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on highways and local routes in and around Fort Worth.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs within legal hours of service.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws to minimize risk.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
