Job Overview
As a vital member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across regional and long-haul routes. We value professionalism and reliability, and we are looking for drivers who take pride in their craft.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and legal manner at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Secure cargo properly using appropriate tie-downs and equipment to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel.
- Navigate routes efficiently to ensure on-time delivery schedules.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or roadside emergencies immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on role).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overnight shifts.
