Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers (Class A) safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo security.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper securing of cargo per safety standards.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and all required DOT paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends if necessary.
