Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently across the Jacksonville metro area and beyond.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation for all loads.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Adhere to all federal and state traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of road safety and DOT regulations.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends if required.
