Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the designated route.
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues with a smile.
- Obey all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record at all times.
- Use handheld devices accurately to scan packages and update delivery status in real-time.
- Keep the delivery van clean and organized to ensure efficient loading and unloading.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and smartphone technology is preferred.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
