Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Florida
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery timelines and optimize route efficiency
- Document all transport activities and incidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Florida highway systems and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
