Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
- Uphold a professional image while representing Premier Logistics Solutions on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or Class B) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (commercial preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of map reading and GPS navigation systems.
