Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight safely and on time to customers in Detroit and New York.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate logs using ELD technology and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Ensure the cargo area is secure and properly loaded/unloaded.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License (Must be clean).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and logistics processes.
