Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across Virginia and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries
- Handle specialized freight (dry van, refrigerated)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Virginia road networks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for ELD
