Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for regional deliveries within 300-mile radius
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Uphold strict safety standards and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Familiarity with Hazmat materials preferred
- Strong knowledge of Kansas and surrounding state roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
