Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and compliant manner.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on or before the agreed schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
