Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) while adhering to DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and secure cargo per safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Communicate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions or delivery issues
- Represent our company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Washington state highway systems and weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
