Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform secure cargo handling and loading/unloading procedures
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work flexible hours
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
