Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles on urban and highway routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries in high-traffic areas
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and boroughs
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
