Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) for regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and HOS guidelines
- Load/unload freight with forklift assistance when required
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and manifests
- Communicate dispatch updates and ETAs via telematics
- Represent our company with professionalism at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years verifiable experience)
- 2+ years dry van/refrigerated trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Florida residency required for local routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Smartphone proficiency for electronic logging
- Team player with customer-focused mindset
- HAZMAT certification preferred (bonus offered)
