Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment and safety protocols
- Navigate efficiently using GPS while adhering to DOT regulations
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Complete electronic logging systems (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overnight trips
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
