Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy-duty vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Deliver cargo to designated customers and locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery updates and route changes.
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and protected against damage during transit.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major moving violations.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
