Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately while adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and adhere to all DOT and company regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication during deliveries.
- Uphold a professional image at all times and follow all company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
