Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner to deliver freight on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (EOBR) for all trips.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and physical certification.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
