Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Represent Swift Logistics professionally while interacting with clients and vendors
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance driving skills and industry knowledge
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A certification through our paid training program
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and cargo documentation
- Physical ability to climb in/out of cab and secure cargo
- No prior trucking experience required – we train from scratch!
