Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight on time and within safety guidelines.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with dispatch and clients.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and drug screen clearance.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and route planning.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to cargo handling.
- Reliable vehicle history and clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
