Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations on time and in good condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Document all delivery information accurately on daily logs and delivery receipts.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper securing.
- Maintain a clean, professional driving environment and company vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and road conditions.
- Basic proficiency in reading maps and using GPS navigation systems.
