Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Navigate Boston's urban infrastructure efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with NYC/Northeast corridor routes
- Pass criminal background and drug screening
- Experience with refrigerated/hazardous materials preferred
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
