Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes across California
- Pre-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper securing protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and route planning
- Communicate with dispatch for real-time updates
- Train on new safety technologies and route optimizations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Experience with hazmat tanker or doubles preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of California highway regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
