Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across the Southeast
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery
- Represent Southern Freight Solutions professionally at all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel (2-4 nights/week)
- Must be at least 23 years old
