Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within Michigan and Midwest region
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Communicate with dispatch team for route optimization and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during dock interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Michigan roadways and winter driving conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication skills and time management abilities
- hazmat endorsement preferred
