Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry vans) for regional routes within Colorado and surrounding states
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
- Represent Rocky Mountain Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service compliance
- Basic navigation skills with familiarity of mountain driving conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
