Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional routes within Texas
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and dock equipment
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch via Qualcomm for route optimization
- Deliver freight to commercial/residential locations on schedule
- Complete required paperwork (BOLs, delivery confirmations)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years OTR/Regional trucking experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate basic warehouse equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and delivery protocols
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must pass background check and provide 3 professional references
