Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Deliver freight on time with zero-touch loading/unloading
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Maintain electronic logs and delivery records
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington DC metro area traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Must be available for immediate start date
