Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes covering 3-5 days
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance logs
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize route efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of cab frequently
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic technology
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
