Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently over short/long haul routes
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation software
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time updates
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of California/Arizona/Nevada highways
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
