Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for long-haul and regional routes across Georgia and Southeast
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries and optimize routes
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with precision and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient navigation and real-time tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills across Georgia and Southeastern states
