Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van or refrigerated) within regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Communicate with clients regarding delivery status
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend shifts
- Knowledge of Indiana/Ohio/Kentucky road networks preferred
