Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with FMCSA standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio roadways and transportation regulations
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for occasional weekend/evening shifts
