Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging (ELD)
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass TSA background clearance and drug screening
- Knowledge of LA metropolitan traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- HAZMAT certification preferred
- DOT medical card current
