Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and reefers) following DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using provided GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Inspect and maintain vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety compliance
- Complete accurate documentation including logs, bills of lading, and delivery confirmations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Ohio roadways and regional geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
