Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring DOT complianceMaintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with appropriate equipment and secure per safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients and team regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment & random)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
- No preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- Willingness to undergo company-paid training on specialized equipment
