Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for on-time deliveries to industrial sites
- Load/unload shipments with appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS regulations
- Communicate delivery status and resolve route disruptions proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Michigan/Ohio road networks
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in variable weather
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
