Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (ELD, bills of lading)
- Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
